Maddie grinned happily at that. She felt her heart hammer loudly in her chest when he kissed her back just as strongly.
He said it had to be real. Maddie chuckled and playfully poked him in the ribs.
"Nope, you're not dreaming" she grinned at him broadly. She was so happy. They could be together now. She inhaled deeply.
"Well, being we didn't go out, how about we watch a movie then?" Maddie offered him softly as she got up. "I'm going to change into something more comfortable. Take off your shoes relax. I'll be right back" she said to him softly as she headed into the bedroom.
She changed out of the sundress and pulled on a pair of gray jogging pants and a white tank top with spaghetti shoulder straps. She had pulled her hair up into a sloppy ponytail. A few strands of hair had come lose but she didn't care one bit. She happily headed back to Chazz on the couch.
"I have a pretty good Movie library. Take your pick. I got popcorn too" Maddie said gazing at Chazz. She felt so lucky to have him in her life. He didn't care that she was a skinwalker. She sat down next to him and waited for him to respond.
There was something lurking beneath Chazz's behavior. It was like it was something he didn't want her to know. She studied him.
"Chazz, I told you my secret. When youre ready if you need to tell me anything, by all means do. You know I would never hate you no matter what you might have done, or whatnot. I would never leave you. I love you too much to do that" she said to him warmly, placing a hand on the side of his face.

Chazz relaxed almost immediately after that, feeling as though he could drift off into the most wonderful sleep he'd experienced in years. Right here, with Maddie and two dogs beside him. Really, he couldn't think of anything better than this moment right now... that is, until his best friend - well, maybe something more now - suggested a movie. Chazz agreed with a slight nod of his head, and slurred, "Sounds good."
And when Maddie got up, he realized that he had no intention of moving from his spot. Instead, he turned to Jayla, wondering if she was well trained enough to retrieve a DVD from a shelf. Well, he'd never know unless he tried, right? "Jayla, go grab a DVD. Any one of them over there," he ordered, pointing to the collection. The black German Shepherd yipped once, and trotted over, staring at the thin boxes quizzically. Chazz chuckled at her as she tried to nose one of them off the shelf and to the floor so she could deliver it to her owner.
Maddie came back in, dressed in something much more homey. Regardless, she still looked stunning - at least to Chazz - but then again, when did she not. She was blessed with good looks. He had to spend more time to make himself presentable than most men did, something his male friends had teased him about endlessly back in the day. They wouldn't be talking now though, not while Maddie was in his arms because obviously... something he did worked.
"I was too lazy to move so I sent Jayla to collect a movie, though she's having some difficulty, look," he laughed, pointing at his canine companion. But before he could continue, he felt a hand on his cheek, and suddenly Maddie asked him what was wrong, what he was hiding.
How did she know? he thought, the smile wiped off his face. A memory came flooding back to him, when he was about fifteen and his father was yelling at him: "It's your fault!" he kept saying, over and over and over again. "It's your fault your mother is dead, so shut the fuck up about me having another girlfriend. You fucking piece of shit. I should have gotten rid of you after your idiot of a mother went and got herself killed!"
But a rage overwhelmed him in that moment, and Chazz suddenly lunged at his father's legs, knocking him into a glass door. The older male's head connected to it, shattering the clear surface upon contact. Chazz didn't stop though. He'd had enough of the mental torture, enough of letting his father use him over and over again for his own benefit. Now his dad was going to pay in flesh and blood....
Chazz shook off the memory before it could continue. There was a monstrous part of him still lingering under his exterior, and he didn't want anyone to see it ever again, let alone Maddie. So he just shook his head and brought his own hand up to his face, gently taking Maddie's own hand and putting it back in her lap, "I don't have any secrets," he lied. "Not anymore."
A sudden crashing took his attention away though, stopping the guilt from building in his stomach at the blatant lie. Jayla had managed to not only get one DVD off the shelf, but about twenty all over the floor. Chazz rolled his eyes and got up, walking over to the pile and telling Jayla to go back to her spot. The German Shepherd whined at the failure, and went back to the couch. Only this time, she actually jumped up, this time taking Chazz's place.
When he finally put away the mess of videos, he took the last off the floor and decided that that would be the one they watch. Without bothering to look at the case or the back cover, he stuck the DVD into the TV and wandered back to the couch... only to find it occupied. He rubbed the back of his head, and then shrugged, "I guess I'll take the floor?"
He sat down, leaning his back against the sofa and staring up at Maddie with his usual, stupid-yet-charming grin, "Wanna join me down here?" he paused, a twinkle of mischief in his eyes, "You can lay on my lap in your dog form."

Maddie frowned. There was something he wasn't telling her she could sense it. Sadness crept into her expression that he didn't trust her with it.
Maddie looked up as Jayla had knocked all of her DVD's off the shelf. She gave a quiet chuckle and watched as Chazz helped pick up the dvd's off the floor. Jayla had jumped up onto his spot on the couch, taking it over.
He asked if he wanted to join her on the floor next to him in her canine form.
"If you want sure" Maddie said nonchalantly shrugging one shoulder. She carefully undresssed and placed her clothes on the chair. She got down on her hands and knees and before long, the human form had vanished, revealing a beautiful German Shepherd. In her new form, she stretched each leg out one by one, then lowered the front half of her body into a half bow, her hindquarters reaching toward the ceiling, front forelegs stretching out nails flexing. She yawned, her salmon pink tongue curling back into her maw. Once her body was settled in the Shepherd form, she walked toward Chazz. She sighed when she reached him and dropped her hindquarters onto the floor and laid on her side. Her back legs tucked against her, forelegs stretched before her against Chazz's leg. She rested her head on his thigh as he had put in the movie. She let her brown eyes lock on the TV Screen.
Her mind began racing at that point. What secret could be so bad that Chazz doesn't trust you with it? What could he have done that was so bad? If they were going to be boyfriend/girlriend now, would he ever trust her with it being she told him the biggest secret of her life? her mind raced. Maddie let out a low whine and briefly shut her eyes.
Maddie adjusted her position and sprawled out on her side completely, all four legs stretched out, her belly exposed. But after a few moments, she got restless like that and finally climbed into Chazz's lap curling up into a ball, with her head pushed under his arm. She let her ears flick back so she could hear the movie. She lovingly gazed up at him, but her eyes held a faint tint of sadness in them.

Chazz turned around as soon as he realized that Maddie had to strip before turning into her dog form. His eyes were pinned to the TV screen, trying hard to focus on the images there instead of the one behind him. That wasn't what he had been expecting, and he was scolding himself mentally for requesting to see her dog form in the first place. Thankfully though, the moment was short lived, and Chazz could calm down, at least relatively, when Maddie came and sat in his lap.
He scratched behind her ears, smiling down at her, but catching the hint of hurt in her eyes. She knew he was hiding from her, and an overwhelming guilt welled up in the pit of his stomach, Please understand... he thought desperately. I'd tell you if only I could.
And so he looked away, his eyes trailing back to the entertainment in front of him, though he wasn't focused on what was happening on the TV. He lost himself in thought again as he absentmindedly stroked Maddie's fur. The flashbacks of his past continued, the vivid images of seeing his dad's blood on his hands and running out of the house soon after. He shifted uncomfortably, but otherwise did nothing to show the turmoil going on inside of him.
And then, in an attempt to calm himself, he strayed to other thoughts, and almost at once he exclaimed, "Oh crap!" He looked down at Maddie, a nervous grin making its way onto his face, "I just realized, I should probably go back to work. If my boss finds out I've been gone for so long, I'm as good as fired."
He let Maddie get off before standing up, snapping once to signal that Jayla should get up. He quickly put on his jacket, zipping it and heading for the door. But he paused in front. He didn't just want to leave like this; Maddie knew something was wrong, and he'd be acting like a jerk if he didn't say something... anything....
"Hey... are you gonna be alright here by yourself?" he asked quietly. "I'm sorry I have to leave so suddenly... but I... I gotta get my life in order. But don't take that wrong, I want this relationship. I've wanted it for a long time. I just..." he sighed as he trailed off. "I don't know how to feel about myself right now, that's all."
It wasn't a satisfying answer, not at all, but Chazz felt at least a bit better having said some of what was on his mind... though it was really too vague for Maddie to piece together. He cast sympathetic eyes to her, and then crouched down, opening his arms so he could give her a hug, even as a canine, "Love you Maddie. I'll come by tomorrow and we can actually go have lunch. Alright?"

Maddie's ears pricked at Chazz's response. He wanted this relationship. At that Maddie's tail wagged furiously behind her but he said that he didn't know how he felt about himself. He got up with Jayla and crouched to give her a hug. He said he'd be back tomorrow for the lunch for sure.
Maddie's ears slipped back against her skull. She lifted her upper lip up , exposing a white canine. She let out a low growl.
Her hackles were raised as she slowly approached Chazz. But what she was really aiming for, was the figure behind Chazz. He was silently coming up behind him with a crowbar. Maddie was still silently creeping toward Chazz. Poor guy must think I'm mental now snarling at him. He doesn't see the guy behind him though! Maddie thought nervously.
Just as she reached Chazz, she snarled and lunged, sailing cleanly over Chazz and landing on the intruder's chest, knocking him to the ground. She began snarling and clamped her jaws on the man's arm, violently shaking it. The man had dropped the crowbar to the ground. She snarled viciously and kept her jaws clamped on the man's arm. She knew she had been drawing some blood, but she didn't care. Maddie would protect Chazz with her life.
She dragged him a few inches before continuing to violently shake his arm. He was yelling in pain. The only way she would stop is if Chazz told her to. She made a mental note to follow him but not before she told him something that was on her mind all day.
Her dark eyes were flashing dangerously as she adjusted the grip on the man's arm. By now it was definitely bleeding badly.

Everything in a short few moments turned from bad, to worse. Chazz had experienced that feeling more than once in his short life that he'd lived so far, but never had an extra person, someone he cared about deeply, been put into the game. His eyes widened at the scene before him, and he clenched his fists immediately, angered that this person, whoever the hell he was, would one, break into this house, two, try to hurt him, and three, make him resort to something he didn't want to have to do ever again.
"Maddie, get off!" he yelled, his voice urgent. He didn't waste time waiting to see if she listened, and reached to the inside of his jacket, pulling out a pocket knife. He hadn't touched the weapon in years, but he always had it, just in case. He ran forward, kicking the crowbar farther from the strange man's grasp and growling lowly, "Don't move."
The man put his hands up after that, blood freely dripping down one arm like a waterfall. The puncture wounds from the dog bite were deep, and most definitely painful, "Who are you?" Chazz continued, his voice dripping with venom. "Are you associated with Raibaru Yokai?"
The man shook his head violently, "N-no sir. I don't even know who that is. P-please, just don't sick your dog on me again! I just n-needed valuables. I'm in debt!"
"So you decided to rob a house?" he asked, his eyes still narrowed to slits. "Don't you know you can get thrown in prison for that kind of stuff? You should apply for a job instead." The man cowered, shaking violently, his eyes darting back and forth as if looking for a method of escape. Chazz sighed, realizing that the man's fear was valid.
I must be a fool, he thought before speaking again. "Sir, if you want, I'll hire you. But you have to apologize to Maddie here, and promise not to do this again. Okay?" The guy on the floor blinked in shock, as if he didn't hear correctly the first time. "Look, either take me up on my offer or leave. The longer you wait, the more infected that wound is gonna get."
The man jumped up after that, turning and fleeing out the door without another word. Chazz sighed, wondering if he should give chase, or call the police, or something... Instead he just turned back to Maddie, "Are you okay? Actually, what am I talking about, if it weren't for you I'd be in a coma. Thanks Maddie..." he trailed off. "I owe you my life, huh?"

Maddie watched as the guy took off, giving him one last warning snarl before Chazz faced her. He said he owed her his life. Maddie lowered her head and looked up at him with sorrowful eyes. She then approached him and gently rubbed her head against his midsection. She let out a low bark , which meant 'stay here a moment'. She had blood on her muzzle and bolted into the house. She quickly shfited back into a human and wiped off the blood from her mouth. She pulled on her clothes hastily and headed back outside to where Chazz was.
She approached him and put her face close to his. She placed both hands on the side of his face and kissed him softly and passionately. She pulled back and pressed her forehead against his.
"Chazz. I dont know what's going on but I love you...more than life. Whatever happened in your past is over with. You deserve happiness. I'm not going anywhere regardless of what happened or what you did. Ok? Please understand that" Maddie said softly snaking her arms around his neck and pulling him tightly against her. She pressed her face into his neck and shoulder and shut her eyes.
Her hair tickled the side of his face as she tightened her grip around him, her chest pressing against his.
It was true. No matter what happened, she would not leave. She was in love with him so much. She would die for him if it came down to it.
"As for owing me your life? No. Let's just say you can make it up to me tomorrow ok?" she whispered in his ear softly. She slowly pulled back from the hug and kissed him again softly. She remained standing, waiting to see Chazz's reaction

Chazz sighed softly as he held Maddie close, considering her words. But could he really trust them? He couldn't count how many times he'd been broken by telling the truth to people; to friends, love interests, other family. And then he realized, he'd only done so because he knew he deserved absolutely nothing in the end. Not after all the things he'd done, he'd said. So even this... even this to him was temporary, but he did love her.
"Of course I trust you," he said, though his voice was only just above a whisper. "But... it's not a big deal, I promise. I can deal with it myself. Don't worry." He let go of her after that, mustering up a smile from somewhere, though his eyes only reflected sadness. "I'll be here tomorrow around noon. Okay? I have to go back to Woofles before all the dogs go crazy. It's about to be dinner time for them too."
He backed up a few steps, rubbing the back of his head, "But hey, listen. If you ever need me for anything, just call, or even walk over. I live upstairs from the shop. Jayla can open the door for you if I'm asleep for some reason," he chuckled after that, staring down at his faithful companion. If there was one thing he knew was true, it was that at least he and his dog would never be apart. Though he felt strongly for Maddie, he believed in his words from earlier: "A human's feelings are disposable. A dog will always love you indefinitely."
Though, Maddie wasn't exactly human or canine. Would she be different? Chazz didn't know the answer though, and with a final goodbye, he started back towards his place, Jayla in tow.

Maddie looked at him and sighed when he left with Jayla. After a few moments, Maddie had an idea. She quickly slipped out the kitchen door that led to her backyard. She hurriedly pulled off her clothing and tucked them beneath the deck. She changed into the shepherd again and once in form, spread her legs to give her body a rigorous shake. Her neighbor wasn't exactly close, so she had no worries abotu anyone seeing a naked girl in the backyard. She easily loped down the driveway, slipping past her Equinox. She stopped at the edge, peering around it to make sure that Chazz was several paces before her.
She carefully slinked down the block, following Chazz's scent. Around her neck was a collar, that read her name was 'Fluffy' and she belonged to Chaz. It was a necklace she had made up a few months ago, just incase she had the stupid dog catcher on her but.
Her eyes locked on Chazz. Jayla turned her head once adn a while clearly sensing her behind them. Maddie's paws touched the ground in sync, as she trotted, her body and profile low. Both ears were turned forward, acoustics cupping any faint noise. The moment Chazz would turn around, Maddie would vanish behind a parked car.
Smart plan there girl Her mind said smirking. Now we can still be with Chazz
Of course that was the whole idea really. Her nose picked up the scent of the pet store and Jayla and Chazz vanished into it. She paused outside and carefully peered into the store. When someone entered, then she could slip in herself. She would just have to wait and bide her time. The only problem was that dogs couldn't open doors like a human and if she shifted, she'd be naked in the middle of Brooklyn

As Chazz reopened shop, he went around, quickly pouring food into each of the puppy's pens. A smile worked its way onto his face at last as he fell into the groove of his work. Sure, he wasn't paid much, but this was a better job than he could ask for... even if his boss was a jerk.
The door jingled again, signaling a customer. It was a young woman and her child, who eagerly wanted to pet one of the small dogs. Chazz rolled his eyes at the antics of the little girl, and quickly went over, "Hello ma'am, welcome to Woofles. Can I help you with anything?"
The child eagerly jumped up and down, pointing to the pen next to her. It was one full of Dachshund puppies, who were wiggling around like hot dogs. Chazz laughed, and quickly brought out the most eager one that had finished its dinner, "Be careful holding her," he prompted. The girl nodded vigorously in response, and hugged the young dog close.
"Uh, sir, I actually wanted to ask about the dog sitting outside. Is she for sale? She seems so well behaved... and I have no idea how to train a dog."
Chazz blinked, Outside? He stared over at the door, seeing the German Shepherd sitting outside of it loyally... but it was the eyes that gave her away, "Maddie?" he asked.
"I believe her name-tag said Fluffy," the woman corrected.
"Yeah, Fluffy. She's my uh... girlfriend's dog... not for sale. But if you want help training a puppy, I can refer you to the other Woofles shop in the City. They do training classes there.
"Oh, well, that's too bad. Come on sweetheart, give the young man back the puppy. We'll come back for one at another time. The little kid whined pathetically about not getting the dog in her arms, but was easily prompted out of the shop by the promise of candy later. Chazz walked the two out, holding the door open for them before staring back at Maddie.
"Ya can't resist me huh?" he joked. "Come on then Maddie. I can't be unhappy to see you. I have a couple more hours before I can close up, and then we'll talk, okay?"
He felt bad, having to put his occupation before his new girlfriend, but he didn't have much of a choice. His wallet was running on nearly nothing these days. So for the next few hours, he walked around the store, tending to the animals, and checking up on Maddie in his few spare moments. A shop full of puppies was a lot to handle, clearly, and then finally, when he could at least close the shop and stop letting guests in, it was time to put all the dogs in their cages to rest. Starting with the smaller dogs, he put them up in their own separate kennels along the first floor in the back room. The bigger dogs, the full grown ones, would go up to the roof for the night. One at a time, he leashed them, and ran up and down the stairs, locking them up so they could settle down to sleep.
"Ahh, just a few more," he huffed after taking up the eighth dog. There was a thin line of sweat on his forehead, but continued to go as fast as he could, knowing that Maddie was probably impatient. He didn't want to fuck things up as soon as they'd started. At last though, his job was finished, the dogs tucked away for the night, and the lights dimmed. All he had left to do was close the windows and lock the door to the front. Jayla, who had been keeping Maddie company for the last few hours, got up, and walked over to the widows herself, closing the notches with her snout. Chazz muttered a thank you, though he was still out of breath, so it was only a faint whisper.
And then, he could finally go deal with Maddie. He pulled at the collar of his long sleeve shirt, feeling a bit stuffy, but he had his reasons for dressing heavily, even on hot days. The truth was, it was pretty cold right now, but with all his running up and down stairs in the last twenty minutes or so, he had warmed up, Ahh, I kind of wish I was by myself if only so I could wear a short sleeve shirt now. She doesn't want to see my tattoos, that much I'm sure of.
He was pretty self conscious about them, partly because it was a reminder of his time in prison, and partly because of what stories each one told. Maddie was a curious person. She'd ask if she saw all the intricate designs. With a few deep breaths, he said, "Come on upstairs. If you want... I have extra clothes?"
Chazz let Maddie go up first, and then followed, fumbling his keys in his hands until he got to the right one. On the left was the door to the roof, and on the right was his one room that he called home, "Ah, sorry about the mess ahead of time," he commented before opening it up.
It was small... and by mess, he meant filled to the brim with stuff. In one corner was all his music equipment, which seemed to be the only organized thing, and in the middle of the room was a bed. All around were piles of things on shelves and in boxes, and on a desk was a small reading lamp and a laptop. A few pieces of clothing littered the ground, which Chazz immediately picked up and threw into an overstuffed hamper before plopping down on his bed with a sigh of relief. But he didn't stay down for long, because he then remembered that Maddie was here for whatever reason.
"Ahh, right. Clothes." He jumped up, going for one of his boxes of clothes. He pulled out a giant T-Shirt and a pair of sweats. "Here you go," he offered. "I know its not that ideal, but... its something right? I know you're here to talk anyway...."

Maddie gazed up at him with her dark eyes and shifted back into her human form nude. She took the clothes from him and hurried into the bathroom. She pulled the clothes on. They fit but the shirt was over sized slightly and hung off one shoulder. Her hair hung softly over her other shoulder. She sat on his bed and tucked one leg beneath her.
"I didn't come here to talk. I just want to be with you" Maddie said softly as she curled up on the bed beside him, letting her head rest on his thigh. She enjoyed his company. She remained snuggled up against him, her cheek pressing on his thigh.
"I guess I was feeling a bit lonely and depressed over Dad" She admitted quietly, shutting her eyes. A bit of the sweat shirt hung off the shoulder more, revealing a bit of the top part of her chest. She didn't realize this of course.
"I promise not to ask anymore about your past. I just hope you tell me when you're ready and remember, I'm NOT going to leave you. I would rather kill myself then leave" she said warmly turning onto her back so she could gaze up at him . She reached up and touched the side of his face lovingly. She gently rubbed her thumb over his cheek before lowering her hand and staring up at him.
She decided that no matter what, she would'nt leave him. She was madly in love with him and wasn't going to cause him to get angry or even worse pushed away. She continued to stare up at him and waited for his response patiently. It was so quiet in the apartment and the lights were dimmed. Naturally her eye sight was ten times sharper so she could see everything in clear view

Oh, god almighty, WHY was he cursed with hormones? Chazz couldn't do anything this time but stare after Maddie as she ran into the bathroom, his face redder than a tomato. He gulped, once again tugging at the edge of his shirt at the sudden heat. He lay back down on his bed after that, closing his eyes tightly and turning to his side. He could feel every muscle within him protest, but he wanted it... no he wanted her in particular.
Of course, it didn't help that moments later, Maddie walked back in without giving him time to recover. She curled up against him, leaning her head on his thigh, and... oh goddamn everything was just going crazy inside of him. The shirt he'd given her was too big. He tried to stay calm, but he could feel his heart start to pound faster. But then something inside him snapped after she said she'd rather kill herself then leave him.
Without even really stopping to think, Chazz whipped himself around, moving his frame over Maddie's like he was a dog this time. His face was still red with embarrassment, but the words that came out of his mouth were sincere, "Don't joke about things like that Maddie. If it ever came to that... if you had to choose me or your life... please, choose me. I don't know what I'd do knowing you were gone...."
He trailed off, and only then was he truly aware of the position he'd put himself in. Chazz was warm, and a bead of sweat dripped down his face. He was doomed no matter what he did now.... The hell with it, he finally told himself. It's dark now anyway... she won't see my tattoos.... and I can't wait the night out like this....

The next morning, Maddie felt warm sunlight on her face. She yawned and stretched, raising her arms over her head. She opened her eyes. Chazz was sound asleep next to her. She grinned wickedly and shook him.
"BOO!" She yelled teasingly.
She loved playing pranks. She grinned at him broadly.
"Morning sunshine" she said cheerully. She kept the sheet covering her chest. Her hair fell around her shoulders. She was still thinking of the night they'd spend together. It was magical and she hoped to repeat it.
Her eyes were shining brightly.
She didn't feel awkward or anything, but completely filled and satisifed. She remained sitting upright in bed. The night before had been wonderous. She had wanted it for a long time. It finally happened and she wasn't sorry for a moment.
"How are you feeling today?" She asked him softly placing a hand on his chest softly.
She was feeling amazing after last night. She could totally do it again if he was up to it. Not right now of course but again.
"Want me to make you some breakfast?" she asked him slipping the sheet off her and grabbing her clothes. She hurriedly got dressed and sat down on the edge of the bed, waiting for him to respond. She knew how to cook. She wasn't a master chef, but she didn't cook badly. She could make anything ranging from French toast to pork chops and more.
She remained standing watching him closely. She loved him and this only expressed it even more. Her hopes of having a family of her own some day only broadened. Granted they'd probably be human but she didn't care much. As long as she was with him

Everything was so quiet, so peaceful, so right in his life right now. Chazz could hardly believe anything from last night had happened, and judging by deeply he was asleep, it must have been a dream... a really, really AWESOME dream.
That is, until he was shaken awake by Maddie.
Chazz snapped his eyes open, wailing in surprise and sitting straight up. So much for a restful night's sleep. And... wait, he'd just sat up without any problems. That meant Jayla wasn't sprawled on top of him like usual.... And then his completely bare body underneath the covers.... Not a dream, he told himself. He looked over at his girlfriend, blinking a few times, "I feel pretty good actually. I don't think I've slept that well... in... ever?" He smiled, the nights events coming back to him in a rush.
The man that was staring at Maddie now was totally different from how he'd acted last night... and it was at that point that a thought occurred to him, No protection... shit.... As Maddie offered to make breakfast, Chazz grabbed the pair of boxers laying on the floor and slipped them on. With his legs swung over the side of the bed, he put an elbow on his thigh and leaned his head against it, deep in thought, I'd better... no, she'd better.... fuck, this is going to be awkward to talk about.
It wasn't long before Maddie came back with breakfast, though Chazz ate it rather absentmindedly. His thoughts were on the what if factor of all they'd done last night, and frankly, he was scared shitless of being a father right now, should that be the situation.
Especially since he wasn't really an American... just a guy on a working Visa that was long since expired. He'd be deported.... back to his father. Chazz sighed, running a hand through his extremely messy hair. He was still barely dressed, and now that there was light in the room, all of his scars, his tattoos, were completely visible. But he was so hung up on his thoughts, he didn't notice.

Maddie finished her breakfast and studied Chazz. She sensed he was preoccupied with his thoughts. She gently crawled over the bed and sat beside him, with her legs stretched over the bed. She had her arms propping her up as she gazed into his face. She was facing the opposite way he was.
She'd noticed his tatoos but didn't care much. Her hair fell around her shoulders, several whisps fell across one eye.
"Is something wrong? Did I do something wrong last night?" She asked him worriedly. But then a thought occured to her. No protection. We hadn't used any she thought. She knew Chazz was clean so she wasn't worried about anything along those lines. Realization dawned on her.
"Ah. Yes we didn't use protection last night" she said in soft voice. "Don't worry. It'll take several tries before I actually get pregnant"
She grinned at him wickedly. "Which means we can still enjoy ourselves"
She let her hand gently run down his chest before she gently pressed her cheek against his shoulder and shut her eyes loving him even more. She kissed him softly before letting her cheek press against his bare chest. She stayed like that for a while just snuggled up againt him.
She slinked her arms around his body nearly crawling into his lap. It would be much easier considering if she was a dog, but being a human was a bit awkward. Still, she sat sideways with her arms around him. Maddie was very affectionate and loving and devoted. It wasn't just the canine part of her either. It was who she was generally.
"What do you want to do today?" she asked him softly.
